Haryana Education Department today, through an online process, transferred of 27,103 teachers allotting them postings according to their registered preferences.
The transfers were made under the new Teachers' Transfer Policy-2016, by Additional Chief Secretary P K Das online from Panchkula.
The department transferred 24,728 JBT and 2,375 head teachers. Also, 1,512 JBT teachers who had earlier got inter-district transfer were given preferred posting, he said, adding the department had invited applications teachers for transfers.
In case a teacher had applied and not got transfer, they may register their complaint on the department's Sugam portal, Das said.
