Haryana govt working for overall development: Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that the present state government is working on the mantra of 'Sabka Sath-Sabka Vikas' so as to ensure all round development of the state and its people.

The Chief Minister was addressing the workers meeting of district Faridabad and Palwal at Faridabad today, an official release said here.

He said that orders have been issued to officers in all the departments to listen carefully to the grievances of complainants' and ensure their redressal.

If any kind of complaint in this regard came to the notice of BJP worker of Faridabad and Palwal districts, in that case, they could send his words in writing to him, he added.
 

He also expressed his views and apprised them about complete facts on various issues of electricity, water, irrigation, roads, sewerage, drainage, employment, sanitation, health, education, security raised by workers.

In Mewat, Khattar said an era of development will be ushered in all the three assembly constituencies of the district. Unlike previous governments, the BJP dispensation would not discriminate against Mewat in terms of development.

He also announced a grant of Rs 5 crore for municipal areas while Rs 10 crore for development work in rural areas of Mewat. This amount will be in addition to the Rs 13 crore released earlier. He was addressing a well-attended public meeting at Grain Market of Punhana in Mewat.

Expressing his concern over the backwardness of Mewat, the chief minister said this was his fourth visit to the district after becoming CM.

He attacked his predecessors for "neglecting this area" and said Mewat is land of heroes and warriors who contributed in the freedom struggle.

He emphasised on education of girls and said that the government would make arrangements for skill upgradation of people, especially the women. The women can run cooperative society and earn through rearing cattle by selling milk and milk products.

He said that skill upgradation opportunities would also be provided to the youth in Mewat so that they can become employable. He assured the people to take care of all facilities like health, education, security and development.

The Chief Minister made a number of announcements in the rally and fulfilled almost all the demands put forth by the local Independent MLA Rahis Khan and Chairman of Haryana Gau Sewa Commission Bhani Ram Mangla.

He announced construction of Gram Sachivalaya in villages, a PWD Rest House in Pinangwa or Punhana, new Vyayamshalas in 10 villages on the condition of availability of two acres of land, repair five existing sports stadiums, upgradation of two police posts to Police Station in Punhana, construction of Administrative Block in newly announced Punhana Sub Division, approved Rs 8.5 crore for construction of 29 km long roads in rural areas through Marketing Board, and construction of warehouse in Punhana.

In addition, he announced that 50 seats of Urdu Classes in Government Elementary Teachers Institute (GETI) would be reserved for girls. He also announced 50 per cent reservation for Mewat students in ANM course in Punhana Nursing College.
