Haryana increases DA by 10%

It would put a burden of Rs 456.84 crore annually on the state exchequer

Haryana Government today hiked the Dearness Allowance (DA) payable to employees by 10%.

The state increased the DA payable to employees from 80% to 90%, effective from July 10, an official release quoting Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said.

This would put a burden of Rs 456.84 crore annually on the state exchequer, it added.

The DA would be paid in cash to all government employees for the month of November, and the arrears from July to October would be paid in December this year.
