Addressing the media here, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said price of petrol in Haryana was already less as compared to neighbouring states.

Hooda was replying to questions after presiding over a meeting of the state cabinet here today.

Price of petrol in Haryana is cheaper by about Rs 6 per litre than that of Punjab.

In reply to a question concerning the memorandums presented by INLD Chief Om Prakash Chautala to the Haryana Governor regarding the law and order, alleged lack of development, Hooda said he had been doing so to only show his presence in the state as most of the time he remained abroad.

Hooda claimed Chautala has no issues and he just wanted to remain in news and grab newspaper headlines by levelling "baseless" accusations.
