The Haryana Police today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang of dreaded criminals with the arrest of five persons.
The accused were nabbed from Bhiwani, a spokesman of the police department said here.
The police recovered seven weapons including one carbine, 9 mm, .30 bore, .32 bore and 12 bore pistols, a bullet-proof jacket, 62 cartridges of AK-47 rifle, carbine and other pistols from them, he said.

"All of them were involved in loot, dacoity, murder, extortion, kidnapping and snatching cases. Two accused belong to Sonepat, one to Jind and two to Rajasthan," he said.
The spokesman said that they were also planning big loot in jewellery shops in Bhiwani and Hisar.
"In the past, they had demanded an extortion money of Rs 10 lakh from a businessman in Bhiwani and fired upon him on August 5. They also snatched a gold chain near railway station in Bhiwani," he added.
