Haryana Police will organise several inter-school road safety quiz competitions in all districts this month onward to promote traffic awareness.
This initiative will focus on school students and aim at making them better drivers in the long run, Inspector General of Police (CID), Shatrujeet Kapoor said today.
"It would also help to create awareness among the students about traffic rules and regulations and will impart future drivers correct driving skills," he said.

The first stage multiple choice question examination was held throughout the state on December 10, in which more than 34 lakh students from 13,552 private and government schools participated, he said.
The 36 teams which qualify for the first round of quiz at each level in the district will be further divided into six groups of six teams each and the first round of the quiz competition will be conducted.
Winners from each group will qualify for the district or commissionerate-level final of the quiz, he said adding that district-level winners would qualify for the range-level quiz competition.
"Range level as well as Commissionerate level winners will qualify for the State level competition to be held during the Road Safety Week in 2015 by January 16", he added.
