Haryana power companies launch scheme for tubewell users

Haryana will launch a scheme under which its power consumers using tubewells will be able to extend their electricity loads without penalty.

Devender Singh, CMD of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN)said that agriculture pumpset consumers can declare the extended load of their connections by submitting an application.

They will not require to submit any terms and conditions form or affidavit for getting their power load regularised and it will be done without any penalty, he said.

The consumers will have to submit a self declaration form instead of a test report for the extended load, along with consumption security.
 

Only the consumers who are not defaulters, or have made entire payment of their all outstanding bills will be able to avail this scheme which will be open till November, he added.
