Haryana raises DA by 10 pc

The Haryana government today raised dearness allowance (DA) payable for state government employees to 100 per cent, from 90 per cent earlier, with effect from January 1, 2014.

An official spokesman said the grant of DA would cost the state exchequer to the tune of Rs 531.60 crore per annum.
