Haryana has created history with Assembly Poll percentage of 76.54, surpassing the previous high of 72.65 per cent in 1967.
The Assembly Poll turnout was 4.68 per cent more than the recent Lok Sabha elections in the state.
As per the final official figures released by the election office today 76.54 per cent of the 1.63 Crore voters cast their votes sealing the fate of 1351 candidates in fray for 90 assembly seats during the polling yesterday.

A total of 77.11 per cent male voters and 75.87 female voters - both of which are highest since 1966 - cast their votes.
In all the 12 assembly elections in the state the males have outdone the females as far as voting is concerned.
Of the 12 assembly elections held in Haryana since its formation in 1966, the polling percentage has been more than 70 per cent on seven occasions, between 60 and 70 per cent on three occasions and once less than 60 per cent in the second assembly polls in 1968 when it was 57.26 per cent.
The seven elections which recorded over 70 per cent polling were in 1967 (72.65 per cent), 1972 (70.46 per cent), 1987 (71.24 per cent), 1996 (70.54 per cent), 2005 (71.96 per cent), 2009 (72.29 per cent) and 2014 (76.54 per cent).
The three elections when the voting was between 60 and 70 per cent were -- 1977 (64.46 ), 1982 (69.87) and 2000 (69.01).
