Members of Haryana Roadways Workers Union today gave a call for a "chakka jam" here on September 1 and 2, demanding a new transport policy and warned of a "statewide strike" if their demands are not met.
On the call of Haryana Roadways Joint Action Committee, the Union is going to hold the blockade to press for their demands, State President of the Union, Harinarayan Sharma said today.
If even after the Chakka Jam their demands are not met, then the roadways employees would not hesitate to go on an indefinite strike statewide, Sharma said.
