Haryana Transport department today warned its employees of strict action if they participated in the strike called by Haryana Roadways Workers Joint Action Committee aimed to disrupt bus services to Delhi.

Accusing the Delhi Police of "high-handedness", drivers and conductors of the state transport department has planned to go on a three-day strike from July 19.

To tackle the call, the Haryana Transport department has formed special teams to keep a check on the situation and ensure buses operate normally during that period, said Arun Kumar, Haryana Transport Director General.

State Transport Workers' Union employees had earlier staged a protest on June 15 when bus service to Delhi was disrupted.

The Haryana Transport department is planning to register a criminal case against drivers and conductors involved in the strike on June 15. Even the loss incurred due to the strike will be recovered from them, Kumar added.
