Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said all villages in the state will become open defecation free (ODF) by June 23.
He said as many as 1,000 villages in the state would be developed as SmartGrams under the 'Swa Prerit Smart Gram Scheme'.
The chief minister also announced that Taoru tehsil of Nuh district will be upgraded to sub-division status.

Khattar was speaking at a function in Dhaula village. President Pranab Mukherjee and other Central and state ministers were also present at the event.
Haryana had already been declared kerosene-free on April 1 this year.
