Hashish haul at New Jalpaiguri railway station

A Nepali was arrested today with 9.45 kg of hashish valued at Rs one crore from New Jalpaiguri railway station today.

The narcotic packed in 20 packets was detected in his bag when scanned at the station, RPF sources said.

Bir Bahadur Dhale had arrived from Nepal this morning and was on way to Delhi, the sources said.

Dhale was later handed over by RPF to the customs authorities.
