A commission of enquiry headed by Justice T P Garg (retd) probing the anti-sikh riots of 1984 in Haud-Chillar village of Rewari district in Haryana today submitted its report to Chief Minister Manohar Lal here.
The government has accepted the recommendation of the Commission, an official release said.
The one-man Commission of Enquiry was probing the killing of Sikhs at Haud-Chillar village in Rewari district of the state and the damage caused to properties of Sikhs living there in the anti-Sikh riots of November 1984.

Recommendations of the Commission are Payment of additional amount of Rs 20 lakh over and above the amount already paid to the claimants of 31 deceased of village Haud.
A sum of Rs 25 lakh to the widow of lone army man Inderjit Singh was also recommended as she has not been paid any amount whatsoever by way of compensation till date.
Besides, payment of additional amount of Rs 5 lakh for the loss of property to each of 36 petitioners over and above the amount of compensation already paid.
Also a sum of Rs 5 lakh each for the Gurudwara and the Janj Ghar be also donated to any such religious structures in case raised at a place where the majority of the survivors of village Haud have now settled after due satisfaction by the authorities concerned as per detailed reasons recorded.
Payment of additional amount of Rs one lakh to be paid for the injuries caused to five claimants who received simple injuries while a sum of Rs 50 lakh be paid to the 6th claimant namely Satpal who has filed his claim through his guardian and mother Ramesh Kumari on account of his having suffered 90 per cent disability for injuries on his skull in the incident.
The panel had been constituted by the State government on March 5, 2011 under the Commissioner of Inquiry Act 1952, comprising Justice T P Garg in the wake of the incident of violence which targeted members of the Sikh community living in village 'Haud-Chillar' in November 1984.
The Commission has received 273 petitions and had examined 455 witnessed in this incident.
