This husband-and-wife duo, whose six-year-old label is available in 20 stores across India including one in Mumbai in suburban Khar, were the surprise choice for the coveted LFW finale last night. They shared the ramp with Kolkata-based designer Kallol Datta.
"I think having a celebrity helped us. It kept us noticed a whole lot more. Someone wearing your product and endorsing it is a good thing, only Lakme could have help us with this opportunity. It helps us and our brand. Kareena has noticed us and she was asking about our collection. It is very exciting to have her," Pankaj told PTI.
Wearing a jet black signature basket woven top with infusions of leather and satin with long fringe detailing, teaming up with black legging and boots, Kareena looked stunning in the outfit.
"We wish we could do more finale shows with her. We look forward to design for her more," he said.
For Pankaj and Nidhi, this was their debut in the city for a fashion extravaganza.
"We were very excited when we got to know that she would be walking the ramp for us. She is very versatile. She is a huge star who is at the top of her game right now. She is a fantastic performer and beautiful," Pankaj said. (MORE)
