Taking objection to Pune-based Charity Commissioner's move for removal of the key word "Bhrashtar" from the name of his NGO Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andholan- Maharashtra, anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare today said he would seek legal recourse against it when he gets the notice in this regard.

Hazare said he has learnt that the order was issued not only to his outfit but also to 16 other NGOs which had "corruption" in their name.

"The government should be tackling corruption. Organisations like ours have come up as the government has failed to do this," Hazare said in his village Ralegan Siddhi.

"Bhrashtachar" means corruption in both Marathi and Hindi.

"Our functioning is transparent. Why was no objection taken when the organisation was formed?" he asked.

"We have not got the notice. After we receive the notice, we will seek legal opinion and go to court if needed," he added.
