A division bench directed the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate and the Income Tax departments to speed up the cases after Koda's counsel pleaded for the same stating that his client was languishing in jail due to the delay of submitting the chargesheet.
Koda, who filed the petition for speedy hearing of corruption cases against him, has been in judicial custody from November 30, 2009 after being arrested in connection with alleged financial irregularities to the tune of Rs 2.500 crore during his regime between 2006 and 2008.
