The Lucknow bench comprising justices Uma Nath Singh and Virendra Kumar Dixit also issued a notice to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) asking its Secretary to appear before it on January 15 along with the UPCA secretary.
The order came on a PIL by Satish Kumar Mishra seeking direction for maintenance of the stadium to match world class standards.
On December 20, the court had directed UP government to start renovation and maintenance of the stadium before January 10.
The court had also issued notice to the respondents -- BCCI and UPCA -- and fixed Jaunuary 10 as next date of hearing.
The court had also directed secretary sports of UP government and secretary UPCA to appear before it.
