Hearing a PIL, the division bench of Chief Justice P C Tatia and Justice Jaya Roy ordered that the committee should be appointed and its report should be submitted by September 17.
The next date for hearing is set on September 17.
The PIL, which was filed in 2011 by some members of NIT, alleged mismanagement and that the government was not taking action for its proper functioning.
