The Bombay High Court today sought to know from the Maharashtra government if it proposes to formulate a scheme or guidelines to tackle with illegal constructions and dilapidated buildings across the state.
A division bench of Justices P V Hardas and Revati Dere was hearing a PIL filed by an NGO, Conscious Citizens Forum, seeking direction to the government and corporations of Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai to take steps to stop mushrooming of illegal constructions.
