HC confirms bail to convict in Fodder scam case

Jharkhand High Court today confirmed the provisional bail granted by a lower court to former MLA Dhruv Bhagat in a fodder scam case.

The court of Justice R R Prasad confirmed the provisional bail granted by the CBI court of Pravas Kumar Singh on September 30 after convicting him along with former Bihar chief ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Jagannath Mishra and 42 others in the one of the fodder scam cases.

A former chairman of Public Accounts Committee, Bhagat has been sentenced to three years in prison by the CBI court.
