The applicant had sought transfer of a panchayat poll petition pending before the SDM court in Dadri (District Gautam Budh Nagar) to another court.
Dismissing the petition, the one-judge bench of Justice Pankaj Mittal ruled that SDM is not a court or authority subordinate to the high court.
