Kerala High Court today expressed displeasure in the delay in completing vigilance probe into the land grab cases against Salim Raj, former gunman of Chief Minister Oommen chandy, and filing of chargesheet.

Vigilance was also directed by Justice Harum-Al Rashid to file a preliminary report within 10 days.

Though vigilance sought an additional six months time for filing chargesheet, the court granted only two months time.

The court held that the land grab case was 'serious' in nature.

The court expressed its displeasure when a petition by Pramchandran Nair alleging that Salim Raj had tried to grab his land in Thiruvananthapuram, came up before the court.

Salim Raj was suspended from service after his name figured in the solar panel scam.
