Justice Subash Adi granted anticipatory bail for a week to Ravi, his wife, sister and brother-in-law on a complaint filed by one Deviprasad, who accused the MLA and his family members of securing allotment of civic amenity sites and residential sites violating rules.

Ravi and others moved the High Court after the Lokayukta court summoned them to appear before it on July 2. Lokayukta Special Court judge N K Sudhindra Rao had rejected the report absolving the accused filed twice by Lokayukta police.

The court on April 3 had rejected the report on the ground that it was "contrary" to the documentary evidence and directed the police to conduct further probe in the case.
