When the father of the girl went to the All Women Police Station to give complaint, they refused to take complaint citing absence of an Inspector of Police and only an entry was made that the girl was admitted in the hospital.
However, after agitations by All India Democratic Women's Association and Tamil Nadu Association for the Rights of All Types of Differently Abled the father and the girl were taken to Hosur in the guise of a Medical Test but were taken to the All Women Police Station at Hosur at Midnight on the New Year day.
There the Girl was subjected to harassment by police officials. In the mean time the heads of four villages of surrounding area has ex-communicated the family of the victim girl for not settling the issue.
