Madhya Pradesh High Court, hearing three PILs on the death of two children at the government-run M Y Hospital here due to alleged accidental administration of anaesthesia, today ordered transfer of its deputy superintendent.
A division bench of Justices P K Jaiswal and D K Paliwal directed the state government to transfer the deputy superintendent of the hospital Dr Sunil Narang within 15 days.
Advocate Manish Yadav, lawyer of Pramod Dwivedi, one of the petitioners, said they had contended, by placing evidence before the court, that Dr Narang was "influencing" the probe and he should be suspended or shunted out.
