Madurai Bench of Madras High Court has rejected a plea to direct police to register a case against BJP leader H. Raja for his alleged remarks linking Popular Front of India (PFI) to terrorism.

Petitioner M.A.Idris, Madurai District President of the PFI, submitted that a video had been posted on Youtube under the title "H. Raja versus PFI" wherein Raja described PFI as a "terrorist" organisation.

Justice N. Kirubakaran dismissed the plea following a submission by Police Commissioner Sanjay Mathur that the police could not find any objectionable material in the video mentioned by the petitioner in his complaint.
