The Calcutta High Court today rescheduled the hearing on the bail plea of West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra who was arrested by CBI for alleged complicity in the multi-crore rupee Saradha scam.
A division bench presided by Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee rescheduled the hearing, which was listed for today, on April seven.
Mitra was arrested by CBI in December 2014 and is at present in judicial remand.
His bail prayer was earlier rejected by Alipore district and sessions court in February.
