The Kerala High Court today imposed restrictions on activities in college campuses including DJ programmes, saying college and hostel campuses are not venues for students to show off.
Upholding the state government's decision to restrict students' vehicles on college campuses, the court also prevented DJ programmes by external agencies inside campuses.
In his judgement, Justice V Chitambaresh observed that celebrations in colleges were crossing the limits and ordered that programmes on campuses cannot spill over 9 pm and students' vehicles shall not enter beyond parking area.
