The Delhi High Court today directed the DDA to place before it an original plan of B K Dutt colony to resolve the tense atmosphere allegedly existing between residents there and the Anjuman-e-Haideri who manage the nearby Karbala land.
"Bring us the original map of B K Dutt colony as it was conceived (planned). Also provide a superimposed picture by superimposing the map over the latest satellite or aerial image of the area," a bench of justices Badar Durrez Ahmed and Siddharth Mridul said.
"This will reveal a lot of secrets. The whole issue will also be resolved," the court added.

The court listed the matter for further hearing on January 16, 2015.
In the meanwhile, it directed, any religious functions at the Karbala shall take place according to the same arrangements that were made last year.
The court was hearing a bunch of petitions filed by the Anjuman-e-Haideri and residents of the colony against each other over the use of Karbala land.
While the Anjuman has accused some residents of the area of trying to encroach upon Karbala land, the people there have accused it of indulging in unauthorised construction in violation of court orders.
