The Kerala High court today set aside the order of Taluk Land Board, Kannyanoor, directing HMT to surrender 25 acres at nearby Kalamassery as excess land.
Justice V Chidambaresh issued the order on a petition by HMT challenging the board's order of April 27, 2002 directing to surrender their land as it was in excess of ceiling limits.
The court said the proceedings of TLB against HMT do not have sanction of law and are to be aborted.
