HC stays KAS exams

stayed the State Services Examination on a PIL filed by physically challenged candidates seeking three to five per cent reservation in Karnataka Administrative Services and Public Service Commission selection.

Hearing the PIL, a division bench headed by Chief Justice Vikramajit Sen stayed the main KAS examinations, scheduled to be held on August 25 and September 4, till September 10.

Earlier, the court sought to know how the examinations could be conducted without providing the required reservation for such candidates.
