Seeking to strengthen its bowling department, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is set to rope in former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram as a consultant coach.
The HCA has held preliminary talks with Akram on the proposal and he has agreed "in principle" to take up the assignment, according to HCA media manager, Vikram Man Singh.
The HCA team has not given a good account of itself in the domestic season and bowling is considered one of the weak areas of the side.
