Infrastructure major Hindustan Construction Company today said its board appointed Rajgopal Nogja the Group CEO effective tomorrow.
"The board of directors of the company at its meeting held on May 2, 2016... Has appointed Rajgopal Nogja the Group CEO of the company with effect from May 3, 2016," the company told the BSE.
Pursuant to his appointment, Nogja has stepped down from the board as a whole-time director effective today, the filing said. N R Acharyulu has been appointed as an additional director.

Hindustan Construction Company has reported a 7.3 per cent decline in its stand-alone net profit at Rs 19.1 crore for the March quarter.
Net profit stood at Rs 20.7 crore in the year-ago period.
Its total income from operations increased to Rs 1,196 crore in January-March of 2015-16 as against Rs 1,175 crore in the year-ago period.
The HCC Group, with a turnover of Rs 8,768 crore, comprises HCC, HCC Infrastructure Co, Lavasa Corporation and Steiner AG in Switzerland.
During the quarter its subsidiary Steiner AG reported
a revenue of Rs 1,585.9 crore against Rs 938.2 crore in Q3 FY16. The company bagged orders worth Rs 5,648.3 crore in past 9 months and has secured orders for more than Rs 3,056.4 crore, where the contracts are yet to be signed.
