Shares of HCL Infosystems surged nearly 6 per cent today after technology major Dell announced that it has entered into a strategic distribution partnership with the company.
Bucking the initial weakness in the stock where it touched a 52-week low of Rs 30.65 in intraday, shares of HCL Info ended at Rs 33.75, a gain of 5.63 per cent on the BSE. During the day, it soared 10.48 per cent to Rs 35.30.
On the NSE, it climbed 5.95 per cent to close at Rs 33.80.

Under the partnership, HCL Infosystems will leverage its pan-India network of partners to distribute Dell's entire Hardware & Software Products, Dell said in a release.
The strategic partnership will widen the reach of Dell's products especially in Tier II and Tier III locations across the country, the release said adding, the partnership also involves comprehensive Go-to-Market initiatives and activities.
