Shares of HCL Infosystems tumbled over 6 per cent on Thursday after the company's consolidated loss widened to Rs 39.97 crore for the June quarter 2019.
The scrip of the company tanked 6.29 per cent to close at Rs 10.72 on the BSE. During the day, it dropped 8.47 per cent to Rs 10.47.
On the NSE, shares tumbled 5.70 per cent to close at Rs 10.75.
The company had registered a loss of Rs 28.60 crore in the April-June 2018 quarter, HCL Infosystems said in a BSE filing on Wednesday.
Its revenue from operations declined over 39 per cent to Rs 680.87 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 1,128.52 crore in the year-ago period.
