A 48-year-old police head constable today succumbed allegedly following injuries sustained after he slipped and fell from his two-wheeler here.
Davamaniraja, head constable at the Salem Steel Plant Police Station, was first admitted to a private hospital and then to the local government hospital.
He died in the afternoon, police said, adding, a case has been registered.
