Head Master of a government run primary school was arrested for allegedly trying to sexually harass some minor girl students, police said today.
Headmaster of Ayodhya primary school was dragged to a local police outpost yesterday by several women of the village and handed over to police accusing him of sexually harassing and assaulting some girls of the school, they said.
The incident came to light when four minor girls of the school told their parents about such incidents and then victim's parents informed the village committee.
Angry villagers caught hold of the Head Master, Parameswar Nayak, from the school and handed him over to Ayodhya police outpost, police said.
A case was registered against the teacher in Nilagiri police station and he was arrested, police said adding the investigation was on.
