Headmaster caught taking bribe of Rs 10,000

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today arrested the Headmaster of a Zilla Parishad High School in Warangal district of Telangana for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 10,000.

The Headmaster, posted at Dharmapuram village of Deverapally mandal, was caught by ACB officials when he demanded and accepted the bribe from a person for doing an official favour, the anti-graft agency said in a release here.

After recovery of the bribe amount, the schoolteacher, whose identity was not disclosed, was place under arrest, it added.
