Health Care at Home, a JV between Dabur India's promoters Burman family and founders of Health Care At Home, UK, plans to hire around 2,250 people by 2017 as it expands footprints across India.

The Joint Venture (JV) currently employs around 250 employees.

"We plan to be pan-India in the next two years by 2017. We will have our presence in top 10 cities by population across the country by that time," Healthcare at Home India Co-founder and Chief Executive Vivek Srivastava told PTI.

On the number of workforce to be added, he said: "We would be having around 2,500 people as we expand our presence by 2017."

The company has presence in Delhi/NCR, Chandigarh, Mohali and Punchkula, Jaipur and Bengaluru. It is targeting to have footprints in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Surat, among others, he added.

The company has a committed capital of Rs 200 crore for first five years, he added.

Srivastava said while the founders have given commitments on financial backing, the company "will also be looking at third party funding in near future".

About the long-term growth road map, he said: "Once we establish our presence pan India, we would look at Middle East and South East Asia for foray overseas."

The Burmans currently hold 65 per cent stake in the joint venture company and the rest 35 per cent is with Gareth Jones and Charles Walsh of Health Care At Home, UK.
