A new Health Care Centre will start operating in the Supreme Court premises from April 1 to take care of medical emergencies and other health-related problems of lawyers, litigants and other visitors.
A statement issued by the apex court registry today said that the Centre will be located opposite the post office in the Supreme Court Compound.
Except holidays, it will remain open from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm from Mondays to Fridays and close by 1 pm on Saturdays. The Centre will be managed by the Directorate of Health Services, government of NCT of Delhi.

The statement said the Centre will have facilities like basic laboratory, consultation by medical officer, first aid treatment and supply of general medicines.
"All the lawyers, litigants and others visiting Supreme Court are, therefore, requested to kindly visit the Health Care Centre for any medical emergency or other health related problems," the statement said.
