In reference to the news reports regarding outbreak of Measles like disease in the villages across the international border (Myanmar) with high mortality especially among the under five children, it may be stated that there is a high chance of the outbreak getting imported into our state through the villages bordering Myanmar, Principal Director of Health and Family Welfare Department, Nagaland, Dr Watikala Ao said in a letter recently.

The letter was addressed to the Chief Medical Officers (CMO) and Medical Superintendents (MS) of Kiphire, Mon, Phek and Tuensang districts.
