Heart patient dies at bank

A 57-year-old man today suffered a heart attack while filling a bank form in east Delhi's Geeta colony, police said.

Narinder Singh Bindra, who is a heart patient, left his home at 10 AM for Punjab and Sindh Bank and fell unconscious 15 minutes later in the bank premises, DCP Omvir Singh said.

Bindra suffered a heart attack while filling a bank form, the officer said.

"He was rushed to a nearby dispensary where he was declared dead on arrival. Bindra also suffered from blood pressure issues and was under medication," he said.

Medical examination has indicated that the deceased had a blood clot in his brain which triggered the heart attack, police added.
