The maximum in national capital touched 41.2 deg C, up by five notches and the minimum settled at 29.2, an increase of two degrees.
Humidity oscillated between 73 and 42 per cent.

Light to moderate pre monsoon rain/ thundershowers occurred at one or two places over East UP but weather was mainly dry over Western region.
Temperatures were above normal in Kanpur, Jhansi divisions, appreciably above normal in Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Agra divisions but elsewhere it was stated to be below normal but extremely humid.
Highest maximum temperature in the state was 43.9 deg C at Fatehgarh.
In Rajasthan, Sriganganagar was the hottest place with a maximum of 47.4 deg C.
Elsewhere, Bikaner recorded a high of 45.6 deg C, followed by Kota at 42.7 deg C, Jaisalmer 42.3 deg C and Jodhpur 42 deg C, MeT officials said.
