Heat wave continues in Delhi, min temp near 30 deg C

There was no respite for Delhiites from heatwave conditions with the mercury soaring to over 44 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature too nearing the 30 degree mark.

The maximum temperature was recorded five notches above normal at 44.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was three degrees above normal at 29.3 deg C.

Yesterday, Palam area had recorded a high of 46.1 degree Celsius while Ayanagar weather station recorded 45.8 deg C and Ridge station 45 deg C.

The humidity level hovered between 39 and 19 per cent.

Meteorological Department has predicted a clear sky tomorrow with maximum and minimum temperatures is likely to be around 45 deg C and 30 deg C respectively.
