Heat wave continues in Raj, Sriganganagar hottest at 45.7

Heat wave conditions prevailed in Rajasthan today with as many as seven towns recording temperature higher than 43 degree Celsius with Sriganganagar being the hottest place in the state at 45.7 degree Celsius.

Kota was the second hottest place in the state at 45.2 degree Celsius.

Bikaner and Churu sizzled at 44.8 whereas Barmer, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur recorded maximum of 44.5, 44, and 43.2 degree Celsius respectively, according to Met department here.

Meanwhile, Sikar and Churu received light rainfall today.

The weather conditions are likely to remain the same during next 24 hours.
