Heat wave continues unabated in Rajasthan

Heat wave conditions prevailed in most parts of the Rajasthan with Kota recording the maximum temperature of 46 degree Celsius.

Churu sizzled at 45.3 degrees Celsius. Ganganagar, Chittorgarh, Jaipur, Bikaner and Pilani recorded maximum of 44.6, 44, 43.6, 43.4 and 43 degrees Celsius respectively whereas day temperature in other places remained above 40 degrees.

The Met department has predicted dust storm with light rains at isolated places in the state during next 24 hours.
