Heat wave conditions intensified in Jharkhand with Palamau recording the highest temperature of 42.2 degrees Celsius today.
West Singhbhum boiled at 42 degrees Celsius followed by Bokaro where the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.8 degrees Celsius, the weather office said here.
Deoghar, Lohardaga, Hazaribagh, Dumka and the state capital Ranchi registered 40, 39, 39, 38 and 37 degrees Celsius respectively, the weatherman said.
