Uttar Pradesh continued to reel under scorching heat as the mercury level touched 44 degrees in Allahabad.
According to Met office, heat wave prevailed at isolated places in the state with Allahabad remaining the hottest place.
The MeT department has forecast dry weather over East UP with the heat wave likely to continue along with duststorms.
