Led by light rains and thundershowers temperature in most parts of North India took a slight dip today while weatherman has forcast a similar trend in the days to come.
In the national capital, after effects of the last week's rains kept temperature at comfortable 35 degree Celsius mark today.
The sun played hide and seek throughout the day after yesterday's rains and squall as the maximum temperature settled at 35.2 deg C, four notches below the normal level.

The minimum temperature settled at 23.5 deg C, two notches below the normal level, Meteorological department officials said.
In Haryana and Punjab, people got slight relief from the hot weather conditions today as maximum temperatures dropped slightly, with light rains lashing a few places in the region.
Chandigarh had a partially overcast sky today and the high here settled at 35 deg C, four notches below normal level.
The local MeT department has forecast rains in the city tomorrow.
Hisar, which received 3 mm of rain, recorded a high of 37.5 deg C, three degrees below the normal level.
In Punjab, Amritsar, which received light rains, registered a high of 34.3 deg C, three degrees below normal.
According to the MeT forecast, a similar weather condition will remain in coming days.
However, there was no let up from heat in Uttar Pradesh. In Lucknow the temperature was 42.6 deg C and in Varanasi it was 42.6 deg C.
The highest temperature in the state was 43.8 deg C in Etawah.
Met has forcest rain/thundershowers at isolated places over West UP while weather will remain dry over East UP.
